"I have to say, this is the first dentist where I 100% understood everything before they started the course of treatment. At no point was I made to feel bad for the state of my teeth or that they were beyond my dentist’s ability to help (something that couldn’t be said of past experiences). I’ll definitely be returning (and not just because they have to finish this crown!)"

"My son was having a really bad toothache and I was new to the area. I called several locations but no one would take me in. When I placed a call to Highlands Dentistry and explained the situation, they accommodated my son before they opened. He was so scared and the dental assistant made him feel so comfortable. He got the X-rays, cleaning, and did not even want to leave!! The paperwork was all online, so we had no papers to fill out. The office is very high tech and the staff is the best."

"Courteous staff, prompt, and helpful in setting reminders. Dr. Ray is great, affable, and gets the point across without overselling. I like the fact that he gave me several options to consider. Great place overall!! Taking my kids next."

"My five-year-old son has a fear of the dentist that he must have been born with since I love going and his older brother has never complained. We have had to bribe, fight, negotiate to get him into the chair. Yesterday did not start off any different; however, once he met with Dr. Shadi he was completely at ease. She has an amazing connection with kids. She is gentle, encouraging, and still gave him a full exam! My son skipped out happy, encouraged, and educated on how to brush/floss!"

"My 18-month-old recently visited Dr. Ray due to an accident she had. I was able to get in right away and the staff was very accommodating for my wiggle butt. Dr. Ray was very nice and turned out she only had a cut gum vs. a damaged tooth. The office is immaculate and very modern. Love this dentist office."

"I really like Highlands Dentistry. The staff is warm and helpful. The atmosphere is fantastic. I have never had to wait beyond my appointment time. My kids absolutely love going to this dentist. Each time I have an appointment for myself, I get the same response from my kids, ‘When is it going to be my turn to go to the dentist?!’ Thank you to Highlands Dentistry for making trips to the dentist a positive experience, rather than the stereotypical scary dread."

"After moving from CA, I had to find a dentist for myself, my two-year-old, and my husband (who hasn’t been in 12 years). My husband had four appointments in one week. And for being terrified of going to the dentist, he will make a point in going back every six months here. They put him at ease, and were FANTASTIC with my two-year-old. They do a great job at making the patient feel at ease and when you walk out of there, your teeth look amazing :)"

"This office is the cure for the common dental phobic! I have been highly fearful of going to the dentist office since I was a small child…. the Issaquah Highlands Dental office has changed that! I was greeted warmly, offered refreshments, guided around in a courteous way, had my teeth cleaned in a relaxing (yes! relaxing) way with soft music and a hygienist who explained what to expect so I was never startled, inquired how I was doing and cared what the answer was, and who was quite gentle. The dentist gave me several options and listened to how I was feeling and what my goals were short and long term. It was so refreshing to have a dentist say “…that can wait. I did not feel pressured to have anything done. The financial person had everything printed out and waiting for me so I could clearly see what was recommended sooner and what could wait. Also, for the first time I felt I understood exactly what the insurance would pay and what would be my responsibility. “All in all, I would recommend this office to anyone. I am going ahead and having some work done and the appointment is within this week."

"Dr. Shadi and assistant Carol were so good to Kate. Kate was not too sure what to think about all the equipment and the big chair, but Dr. Shadi and Carol made her feel so comfortable and she had a wonderful first experience. I am so thankful for their gentle care. Thank you!"

"My spouse and my father were right. I’m glad I made my appointment with them. My experience at Highlands Dentistry was great. Their staff was very professional and accommodated my scheduling needs. Dr. Ray was outstanding; he focused on my particular needs. Their care for patients really shows. I’m actually looking forward to my next visit! Thanks!"
