I have to say, this is the first dentist where I 100% understood everything before they started the course of treatment. At no point was I made to feel bad for the state of my teeth or that they were beyond my dentist's ability to help (something that couldn't be said of past experiences). I'll definitely be returning (and not just because they have to finish this crown!)

My son was having a really bad toothache and I was new to the area. I called several locations but no one would take me in. When I placed a call to Highlands Dentistry and explained the situation, they accommodated my son before they opened. He was so scared and the dental assistant made him feel so comfortable, he got the xrays, cleaning and did not even want to leave!! The paperwork was all online so we had no papers to fill out. The office is very high tech and the staff is the best.

Courteous staff, prompt, and helpful in setting reminders. Dr. Ray is great!, affable and gets the point across without overselling. I like the fact that he gave me several options to consider. Great place overall!! taking my kids next.

My 5 year old son has a fear of the dentist that he must have been born with since I love going and his older brother has never complained. We have had to bribe, fight, negotiate to get him into the chair. Yesterday did not start off any different, however, once he met with Dr. Shadi he was completely at ease. She has an amazing connection with kids. She is gentle, encouraging and still gave him a full exam! My son skipped out happy, encouraged and educated on how to brush/floss!
My 18 month recently visited DR Ray due to an accident she had. I was able to get in right away and the staff was very accommodating for my wiggle butt. Dr Ray was very nice and turned out she only had a cut gum vs. a damaged tooth. The office is immaculate and very modern. Love this dentist office.
I really like Highlands Dentistry. The staff is warm and helpful. The atmosphere is fantastic. I have never had to wait beyond my appointment time. My kids absolutely love going to this dentist. Each time it I have an appointment for myself, I get the same response from my kids, "When is it going to be my turn to go to the dentist?!" Thank you to Highlands Dentistry for making trips to the dentist a positive experience, rather than the stereotypical scary dread.

After moving from CA, I had to find a dentist for myself, my 2 year old and my husband (who hasn't been in 12 years). My husband had 4 apts in 1 week. And for being terrified of going to the dentist he will make a point in going back every 6 months here. They put him at ease, and were FANTASTIC with my 2 year old. They do a great job at making the patient feel at ease and when you walk out of there your teeth look amazing :)
From the moment I walk through the door until the instant I leave the building every aspect of each visit is professional, personal, and friendly. They are truly an extension of our family providing a loving service and always a joy to visit.
We have been going to Highlands Dentistry for approximately six months after a family friend highly recommended the office. Our only regret is that we didn't go here sooner! Our children, ages three and seven, absolutely ADORE Dr. Shadi! She is very kind, patient, genuine, and loving. From the first time you meet her, you know she loves working with and being around children and children naturally gravitate to her. Both she and her staff have a gentle, warm demeanor when working with kids and do a phenomenal job of making sure they're comfortable and also educate them in a way that makes sense to them in a kind, helpful manner. I see Dr. Ray and he is wonderful as well! Both dentists care about their patients and want what's best for them. On a side note, when I have an appointment to see Dr. Ray, I can't tell my kids because they will want to know why they don't have a dental appointment with Dr. Shadi! To me, that speaks volumes about how wonderful they are! Who can honestly say they know a kid who gets upset over not having to go see the dentist? Well, except for the kids who go to Highlands Dentistry, I am confident they run, not walk to their appointments there, both dentists are THAT wonderful :)

We are new to the area and started going to Highlands Dentistry recently. Our two young children (5 and 3) loved going there and have actually asked us several times when they can go back. The staff is friendly, quick and professional. All of the equipment seems state of the art and my wife and I have both had great experiences as well.

I have never in my life had such a good experience at a dentist. I can't say enough good about them and I recommend them to everyone, any time it comes up in conversation. We live in northeast Duvall, and I will not go anywhere closer, because IHD is sooooo great!

Highlands Dentistry has fantastic staff! From the moment I walked in, I knew this was the dentist office for my four children. My kids are always comfortable and actually have fun in the dentist chair! They get prizes and their picture taken for winning the no cavity club. My kids are teen to pre-school and all of them love their dentist. When I tell my little ones we are going to the dentist they say, "Yay, Dr. Shadi!"

My husband and I see Dr. Ray and our kids see his wife. They are amazing!!! We love them! We never feel rushed and our kids (3 and 1) love to go to the dentist. Who would have thought? Our son even likes to floss.

Dr. Shadi is the kindest and most gifted children's dentist we have ever seen. We tried out two other pediatric dentists in Issaquah and she is far and above better than all the rest. Her staff is wonderful as well - the entire office is warm and welcoming. They do everything possible to make the kids comfortable and make the whole process painless for everyone. I am impressed by the technology the office employs - the paperless registration, the dvd players for the kids to watch while in the chair. The drill-less cavity filling (laser) is the cherry on top of the sundae! Dr. Shadi herself is so kind and warm that my kids all love her. We appreciate her so much! She has been wonderful to our whole family, especially when my son was having heart surgery and needed some special dental work done beforehand. She even was sweet enough to check on how his surgery went and get him a get-well present! I am beyond impressed with her and her whole office and would heartily recommend her to anyone!

I am new to Seattle area and needed a good dentist. I am a picky person. My family and I went to our local dentist - Highlands Dentistry. I was so happy with Dr. Ray and his staff. Everyone was very nice and attentive. The office was very nice too (clean, decorated nicely, comfortable). Dr. Ray and the hygienist explained everything very clearly to me. They didn't make me feel rushed, or as if they had to get to the next patient. I also liked that Dr. Ray didn't suggest a bunch of dental work that I didn't need in order for him to bill more money. I am very happy that we found a great dentist office again.

My daughter is naturally a shy person, especially with someone new like a dentist. The staff is welcoming and accomodating. Our dentist is so gentle and kind but effective. Their faciltiy is amazing. Hot cocoa, hot coffee and cold water bottles are always available in the waiting area with a seperate play area for the children. At the end of my daughter's visits she looks forward to getting a "token" so she can choose her own toy reward from the various vending machine. I would definitely recommend Highland Dentistry its a wonderful experience.

We have been dental patients since the practice opened in the Highlands. It's a brand new state of the art facility. They run on time, are professional, experienced, use the latest methods and are efficient. It is an excellent experience whether you are a child or adult. All the staff are very caring and friendly. We're also very happy to have them so conviently located.

Highlands Dentistry does not look or feel like a dentist. The office is beautiful. State of the art equipment. The staff is more than friendly and make you feel welcome. The quality of work is outstanding and did not feel any pain. I can not thank Dr. Besharati and the members of Highlands Dentistry enough.

Great atmosphere friendly staff my kids love it there! I made a mistake on the time for apt and was very late. Eventhough they were booked solid, they somehow squeezed us in. Both my kids really enjoyed going to the dentist!

My daughter is 2 1/2 and she went for her first dentist visit. Kady took her time and explained everything that she was doing to do. She let my daughter touch all the tools and even let her spray the water. She was very patient, as was Dr Araghi. It was such a positive first dentist appointment.

From start to finish my experience with Highlands Dentistry was outstanding. The location is very easy to find with ample parking right out front. I was able to fill out all my paperwork prior to coming into the office online which made the initial visit so simple. The office is very appeaking, new and modern. The staff provided A+ customer service and took their time to be friendly and personable. I felt very comfortable and the Doctor and staff made you feel right at home. I would recommend anyone seeking a new Dentist in the Issaquah area to come to Highlands Dentistry.

My son just had his first dentist appointment and this was the perfect place! They were kind, encouraging, and gentle. The assistant and the dentist praised my son the entire time ("you're doing great buddy," "good job," "we're so proud of you," etc.). He loved being able to watch a movie on the ceiling, wearing the cool sunglasses, and getting his prize at the end. I highly recommend this place! Great for kids and comforting for parents. Love it!

I had my first appointment to have a crown replaced and found the treatment very comfortable and have not had any problems. I have a temparary in now and look forward to my permanent replacement.

Dr. Shadi Araghi is the best children's dentist. I switched dentist and took my son to Dr. Araghi because her practice was nearby. I'm very thankful I did. Dr. Araghi and her staff are the most friendly, kind, and gentle dental professionals. With a different previous pediatric dentist, he cried throughout the appointments and I was told that his fear and crying was unacceptable. (Yes this was a well known pediatric dentist also in Issaquah). With Dr. Araghi, my son has had a VERY different experience. He no longer is afraid to go to the dentist and throughout his appointment he remains calm because of Dr. Araghi's gentle, kind and calming assurance. She offers a balance of gauging young children's apprehension and comfort level, with the detailed dental work that needs to be performed. When my son became squeamish she strokes his head and explained to him in gentle voice what she was going to do... She waited for him to comprehend the information before continuing on. She really takes great interest in her patients and is very sensitive to children's dental experience. I wished that all physicians were like Dr. Araghi. I think the best thing about the Issaquah Highlands is Dr. Araghi's practice. Right after his last appointment, my son stated that he couldn't wait for his next appointment. I'm very thankful for Dr. Araghi and hope she keeps her practice in Issaquah. She is the IDEAL children's dentist!

I started going to Highlands Dentistry after a coworker recommended them. I did a little on-line research and talked to the office receptionist and felt like it was worth a try. I moved from an office where my son, who suffers from anxiety, had very negative experiences, and have found it a blessing. Wonderful office, great services, and the Dentists are very good at what they do. I trust their opinions 100%. I really enjoy going to this office. The dental hygienist and the children dentist, the first people he encountered, are absolutely great, and just knew how to relate to him. I personally needed a crown and am very pleased with the dentist who did it, the gentlest and most careful dentist I have come across so far. He did an excellent job, and takes his time to make sure you are comfortable.

I moved to Seattle and was looking for a good dentist. Many of my friends recommended Dr. Shadi and Dr. Ray. I am glad I went with them. My first visit was wonderful. Very calm and peaceful. I can't wait to take my kids for their visit to have a good experience.

I just had an awesome dental cleaning here! A couple things that blew me away was how state-of-the-art everything was - from a tablet computer for new patient registration, to sonic-brush teeth cleaning (not like the consumer version product, but the tarter cleaning wasn't a bunch of metal scratching!), the xrays were both the normal sticks you put in your teeth but also this really neat machine you put your head into and it circles all the way around so they can look at your jaw/etc! Fluoride treatment was sort of "painted on" instead of the gross tasting swish fluoride treatments. I think Dr Ray also caught a problem with my teeth grinding that other dentists hadn't caught too. Also, I'm not sure if it's just because they are a fairly new business, but the actual DOCTOR cleaned my teeth and not just a hygienist. I also got a $25 starbucks gift card (which almost seems like a waste...I'm just going to get my teeth dirty/stained again now!) As well as a battery powered oral b brush, both I weren't expecting!. Highly recommend going here for a dentist!

Just wanted to leave a note about Laser Dentistry. My child got 2 fillings done with no shot, using Laser in Highlands Kids Dentistry, it was amazing! She had no pain during or after the procedure. Very nice practice, great doctor and staff, she loves going back again.
